01 · How we help

Clear answers. Real improvements. A team that can keep going without us.

Most businesses don’t need an “AI strategy.” They need someone to look at how the work actually gets done, point to the three or four spots where AI can take a load off, and then help make it happen.

That’s what we do. We start by understanding your business, not by selling you software. We recommend only what will pay for itself in time saved or work made easier. We set it up alongside you. And we train your people so the improvements stick, whether or not we’re in the room.

You stay in charge of the decisions. AI just helps you get through the day with fewer bottlenecks.

Where we can help

AI Workflow Assessment

We sit down with you and your team, walk through how work moves through your business, and identify where AI can save real time. You get a short, plain-English report with specific recommendations, ranked by impact and effort, so you know exactly where to start.

Scheduling & Communication Support

Fewer back-and-forth emails. Faster replies. Meetings that get on the calendar without five messages. We set up AI assistance for scheduling, drafting routine correspondence, and keeping your inbox from running your day, with your team reviewing anything that matters.

Inbound Lead Handling

When a prospect calls, emails, or fills out a form, they get a prompt, helpful response, even after hours, even when everyone’s busy. Leads get captured, qualified, and routed to the right person so nothing slips through the cracks.

Finance Data & Reporting

Stop waiting until month-end to know how the business is doing. We help you get the numbers that matter — cash, margins, receivables, job costs — delivered on a schedule, in a format your team will actually read.

Ask Your Business a Question

Turn the data you already have into answers. Spot trends in sales, costs, and customer behavior, and ask questions in plain language (“Which services were most profitable last quarter?”) without building a spreadsheet or waiting on a report.

Team Training

The goal isn’t to make you dependent on us. We train your team to use the tools confidently and safely, set up simple guidelines for what AI should and shouldn’t touch, and leave you able to keep improving on your own.

03 · About us

A team that’s run businesses, not just built technology.

Understand the business first. Use AI where it clearly helps.

Sacramento Intelligence was started by a group of people who’ve spent their careers on different sides of the same problem: making businesses run better. Our backgrounds span technology, operations, finance, and sales, including time at McKinsey, Microsoft, and Yelp, and leading sales organizations as a VP of Sales.

What we have in common is a practical streak. We’ve seen too many businesses get sold tools they didn’t need, or get scared off AI entirely by the noise around it. We think there’s a better path: understand the business first, use AI where it clearly helps, skip it where it doesn’t, and make sure the people doing the work are comfortable with every change.

We’re based in Sacramento and work with businesses across the region — trades and home services, professional services, and other owner-led companies that want to get better without getting distracted.

04 · How it works

Three steps, at your pace

  1. A free introductory conversation

A 20-minute call to hear about your business, what’s eating up your team’s time, and whether AI can realistically help. If it’s not a fit, we’ll tell you.

  2. An AI Workflow Assessment

For businesses where we see a real opportunity, we go deeper: a structured look at your workflows, followed by a written set of recommendations you can act on with or without us. Clear priorities, honest estimates of effort, and no pressure to buy more.

  3. Implementation and training

If you’d like our help, we put the recommendations into practice with your team, starting with the highest-impact, lowest-risk changes. We train your people as we go, so the improvements belong to you.

05 · Common concerns

Questions we hear often

“We’re not a tech company. Is this really for us?”

Yes. In fact, that’s who we built this for. The businesses seeing the most benefit from AI right now aren’t software startups. They’re contractors, clinics, law firms, distributors, and service companies with too much admin work and not enough hours. You don’t need technical staff. You need clear guidance and a bit of setup.

“Is AI going to replace my employees?”

No, and we won’t pretend otherwise. AI is good at handling repetitive, time-consuming tasks: drafting, sorting, summarizing, scheduling, pulling numbers together. It’s not good at judgment, relationships, or knowing your customers. The goal is to give your people more time for the work that actually needs them.

“We tried ChatGPT and it wasn’t that useful.”

That’s a common experience, and it’s usually a setup problem, not a tool problem. General-purpose AI on its own is like hiring a smart temp with no instructions. The value comes from connecting it to specific tasks, giving it the right context, and putting a person in the loop where it counts. That’s the part we help with.

“What about our data? Is it safe?”

It should be, and we treat this seriously. We help you choose tools with appropriate business-level privacy protections, set clear rules for what information AI can and can’t access, and keep sensitive data — customer records, financials, employee information — under your control.

“We can’t afford a big, disruptive project.”

You don’t need one. We work in small steps, starting with the changes that pay off quickly and don’t disrupt how you operate. Most engagements begin with one or two workflows, not a company-wide transformation. You set the pace.

“How do I know I’m not being sold something I don’t need?”

Our assessment is designed to answer exactly that. It’s a fixed fee, it produces recommendations you own regardless of what you do next, and we’ll tell you plainly if AI isn’t worth your investment in a given area. We’d rather earn a long relationship than a quick sale.
